Employees are your greatest and most valued asset and worth this investment.  We recommend that once management training is complete AND processes, best practices, and some level of infrastructure is in place. employee training can begin. 

The employee training is designed to complement and reinforce the framework of the work alternative program options. This mini-workshop explores with your employees how to:

  • Understand the level of commitment by management and their expectations
  • Work in a partnership for success with management as part of a joint council
  • Commit to the ‘rules of engagement’ and trade-offs
  • Proactively design their objectives to achieve ‘virtual success’
  • Identify pitfalls and issues before they arise
  • Acquire the skills, tools and training they need to be successful

In addition to a required ½ day or full-day workshop for the employees, the following half-day courses are recommended for employees to become comfortable and successful with their new roles and environment.

Email and Online Etiquette
provides a basic understanding how to maximize your message in a few words and how word choice, tone and sentence structure is critical when you are not communicating face-to-face

Effectively Conducting and Attending Online Meetings
explores the online collaboration tools and techniques to keep people involved and participating in virtual meetings.  This course will use your company’s online conferencing/collaboration tool (Net Meeting, WebEx, Centra, Placeware, Blackboard etc)

New Age Time Management
focuses on breaking old ‘office’ habits and how to manage your time in a ‘virtual’ world.
